I have updated Evermore, my WordPress plugin for automatically displaying just the beginning of each post. Recent updates have focused on making it work better; this update improves configuration and problem diagnosis. If you are happily using version 2.1, you don’t need to upgrade.
The changes are:
- If Evermore can’t find its options, use default values instead of all zero.
- Optionally include diagnostic information in pages, to help me diagnose problems.

I’m using the Evermore plugin and it works fine but I would like to use the Related Post plugin too but I can’t figure out where to put Related Post PHP code. If I put it in the loop on the index.php page the related post end up right after “Continue Reading –>†and not on the page that displays the whole post. Does anyone know where the Related Post PHP code needs to be for it to appear after the complete post.
The site that I got the Related Post plugin is does even come up anymore.
hi, i tried the evermore plugin.. works fine.. but still displays the picture or youtube video..
i’d like the plugin to show a textual excerpt, without showing pics/movies..
is this possible?
Gert, you’ll need some other plugin. You could try one of the other plugins listed on the main Evermore page.
