There are so many diets around, and none of them seem to work very well. You may as well try the Letter Diet: pick a letter of the alphabet at random, and only eat foods beginning with that letter. Guaranteed to be interesting, if not healthy. Just pray you don't pick X.

Ever thrown something away and then had to trawl through your rubbish bin looking for it? Wouldn't that task be made so much more pleasant if the bin were transparent? Yet another brilliant marketing idea going spare.

They're planning to build an Ikea furniture store near here. It's taking them ages, but why should it take so long? Ikea stores come from the factory in Sweden, flat packed for easy assembly; surely it can't take more than a day or so to put one together.
