A female mooing farm animal is called a cow, and a male is called a bull. But why is there no generic name for the species?

If there is an afterlife, then when we die, we'll know it. But if there isn't an afterlife, we should at least be given a grace period of a few seconds so that those who didn't believe in the afterlife will have the satisfaction of knowing they were right. - name withheld

Most mornings when I get up, I am happy to face the day. Of course, I am usually still sleepy too, so I may appear a bit dopey. These days, pollen in the air makes me sneezy. I'm also a little bashful early in the morning before I've readied myself to face the world, so I may be grumpy too. If only I had a Ph.D. then the set would be complete.
