Cover three walls of your living room with mirrors, and paint or wallpaper the fourth wall. If you want to redecorate, you only have one wall to do, and it will get reflected in the other three! Yet another labour-saving tip from a musing man.

Every year, people say, "Gosh! This year has simply flown by; it doesn't feel like 12 months since last year." After all these years, why are they still surprised at how fast time passes? Why have they not yet learned how long a year feels?
(One possibility is that time is in fact speeding up. That possibility is terrifyingly confusing and will be dealt with in future thoughts.)
(Perhaps I should also mention that I too am usually guilty of this. For many reasons, though, this year is an exception.)
