Life would be so much simpler if we lived in a universe with no distinction between left and right. For one thing, there'd be no difference between a slash and a backslash; multitudes of programming problems would disappear overnight!

I went to a play tonight. It wasn't very good, but I appreciated the bleak, depressing ending; it made me feel that I wasn't being pandered to. Hopefully that will be some consolation if my life has a bleak, depressing ending too.

Not long ago I went to visit my friend Ted, a former Web developer. He lived in Apartment 404, but I couldn't find it.
