Here I&#8217;ve listed websites for the companies that I actually met in person.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these websites have job listings and other useful information, so it&#8217;s worthwhile looking through all of them. Some of them are in Japanese, and you&#8217;ll have to find a link to the English version of the page.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cds-consulting.com\/\">CDS Consulting<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewcd.co.jp\/main_en.htm\">East West<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ingeniumgroup.com\/\">Ingenium Group<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jhint.com\/\">James Harvard International<\/a> were very helpful and knowledgeable.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jdvinternational.com\/\">JDV International<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.optionsgroup.com\/\">Options Group<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertwalters.com\/\">Robert Walters<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.topmoneyjobs.com\/\">Top Money Jobs<\/a>, restyled &#8220;TMJ&#8221; now the bubble has burst. When I looked at their website in 2001, they listed several software development jobs at over 20 million yen. Things are different now.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wallstreetjapan.com\/\">Wall Street Associates<\/a> also did well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I also saw a couple of consulting companies. They&#8217;re worth talking to, but I get the impression that the work they could offer was less interesting and lower-paid than the more straightforward recruitment companies.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.panache.co.jp\/\">Panache<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rpsquare.co.jp\/\">R P Square<\/a> quoted me some alarmingly low salary ranges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I investigated a lot of recruitement companies before and fter my arrival in Japan.
