Search Meter does not work with Google custom search boxes because WordPress (and Search Meter) never see the search query. Instead, it goes straight to Google. I believe Google provide their own tools that will allow you to track searches.

Looks like Search meter does not collect statistics from Google Custom search box. Could you pleas look what’s wrong? You can see this on my site – I have google search and recent searches widget in the right sidebar. The recent searches show only one search (roland) – that is left from the WordPress standard search.

Hello,

Is it possible that the link from the search widget would be to the non-pretty parma link URL? (e.g, to : site.com/?s=searchTerm)

Due to a bug in wp-super-cache, the terms of the /search/searchTerm, are not cached properly.
